About Our Session

This unscripted and spirited singing session has simplicity, creativity and spontaneity at its heart. We use guidelines (not rules) and make things up as we go.

Gathered in our circle, we will learn (and invent!) songs, grooves and chants to sing together, discovering melodic ideas, exploring rhythmic ideas and developing personal languages and story-telling along the way.

Ensemble singing strengthens vocal skills ...

Singing with others strengthens our musicianship, including:

... and builds community

“These spontaneous workshop are so fun and liberating …
with no pressure. Creativity comes forth from all participants.
The group is joined together in a friendly circle of human sounds filled with harmony and melodic beauty”

– Dorothy
