Mondays, Nov. 17 to Dec. 8 • 7:00 to 9:00 pm
This four-week class will provide a space to practice creating spontaneous vocal music in a vibrant and supportive group of singers. The approach to the class will be somewhat improvisational, but here are some topics we’ll cover:
- Sources of inspiration (language, images, movement)
- Basic vocal technique
- Rhythm and counting exercises
- Working with odd meters
- Singing over changes
Classes will be held at a private residence (mine) in South Minneapolis unless otherwise noted. I will facilitate the event and have beverages available.
Cost of the class is $ 80.00. Registration period ends Friday, Nov. 14. Payment should be made by cash or check on or before the first day of class (11/17). To register, contact Sarah at sg@sarahmgreer.com or 612-874-9187.
