My Mission

To change the world by singing.

(And improvising, dialoguing, connecting and creating communities.)

When I sing with others, we create a space and time for that singing, we shift our priorities and make ourselves open to sharing a communal experience. In short, we change. And when we change, our world (and how we experience it) changes.

Changing the world is a cumulative result of individual actions.

I used singing to change my world. I went from working as an advertising director to working as a vocalist, consultant and educator. And it’s all a result of answering the improvisational question – “What happens if I …?”

My Philosophy

We need creative ideas to change our world.

The minds capable of making creative leaps between things that don’t seem connected are the same minds that will come up with the ideas to get us to the next place we need to be as a planet.

We need to make time and space to be creative.

We need to foster the artistic parts of our selves, the creative parts of our selves. Caring for those parts of ourselves isn’t a luxury; it’s a crucial part of how we’re going to envision and then make the world we want to live in.

We need to be authentic to change the world.

Finding and doing the one thing that we are called to do changes the world.
