In April of 2017, Ella Fitzgerald would have been 100 years old. This summer, Jazz Alley created a show to acknowledge, celebrate and perform(!) some of the wonderful songs Ella gave to past, present and future jazz lovers.

JAZZ ALLEY sings everything from Amy Winehouse to Abbey Lincoln to Peggy Lee. The group was founded by the curators of the inaugural “Singers’ Scat Off” presented at the 2016 Twin Cities Jazz Festival. These friends and vocalists joined together to share their love of jazz and swing.
