WORKSHOP SKILLS: singing over changes, counting bars, learning song form, melodic and rhythmic development, lyric embellishment

In this second online workshop, we will work with two important jazz forms; 12-bar blues and rhythm changes. We will continue to practice the skills taught in Fundamentals I (vocal colors, personal language, front/back phrasing, etc.) and add moving between lyric and invented language (scatting) while working within the structure of song forms.
