If we have learned anything since March 2020, it is the power of improvisation to help us remain flexible and meet new and unforeseen challenges. In this presentation, vocalist, improviser and songleader Sarah M. Greer outlines ways in which we can use improvisation in music to develop and enhance our ability to improvise in our lives and classrooms, helping us to connect to students, staff and one another. Including a blend of topic talks, interactive discussions and voice-on experiences, participants will develop new skills to bring to the classroom, even when the classroom is online.
